I me...I prefer communicating in the comments here. I mean, you are anonymous... so I don't see why it would hurt to have a conversation for the rest of the anonymous world to see. Someone out there may benefit from our conversation, actually, but... what the heck. Yeah, I have an email address that I pretty much never check, but I think I'll start checking it. Thanks for you...I don't mind anonymity at all. Thanks for your comment. Yeah, there are a lot of things in scriptures that are just really hard to believe literally. But I think behavior trumps belief. Grant Palmer rightfully observed that Christ emphasized correct behavior, not correct theology.misterfake371https://www.blogger.com/profile/07971233237329366968noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1521275149783485826.post-57907312686635401672017-10-10T14:35:04.591-07:002017-10-10T14:35:04.591-07:00Hi misterfake371. Thank you for writing this blog!...Hi misterfake371. Thank you for writing this blog! I just discovered it the day after diving into MormonThink and it's very refreshing to realize that I can enjoy everything that I like at church without having to believe EVERYTHING. I've never really been into anti-mormon stuff (avoid it like the plague, like I should) but there's so much stuff I find myself laughing at and just can't believe literally. A lot of stuff in the Bible too, like the ark. And once in priesthood session I heard Elder Holland remind us that Lot's wife turned into a pillar of salt. He said it with such conviction and seriousness, but it just cracked me up! I laughed out loud and had to excuse myself from the meeting.<br />So I'm reading your blog backwards now (not word for word backwards - that would be tough, but post by post) and I'm really digging it. Thank you and keep it up! I hope you don't mind me being anonymous for now. I'm still in the closer and don't have a cool misterfake handle yet. I don't do it openly but when ever I get chances I make them see things that really aren't true about the Church.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1521275149783485826.post-27316866125485816102017-04-21T17:56:42.732-07:002017-04-21T17:56:42.732-07:00A neighbour gave me some reasons to become a Mormo...A neighbour gave me some reasons to become a Mormon. It is frequently uncomfortable and I am not sure I can do it indefinitely but it is the path I have chosen to keep my family, particularly my wife. She knows and I am pretty sure we only stay together if I keep faking it. 50 years old and this is my path. I would never have predicted it.Anonymousnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-1521275149783485826.post-44310062128290211892017-03-02T05:01:43.460-08:002017-03-02T05:01:43.460-08:00Glad you updated the blog.
